The versatile rim design takes into account real-world riding conditions, not just those created in a wind tunnel, resulting in the most efficient drag-reducing rim shape available. Now even lighter, thanks in part to its Hand Made Ultra-Light Carbon (HULC) construction, the Bora Ultra WTO 45 features thinner Aero Elliptical spokes and hidden spoke nipples to help slice through the air. Campagnolo’s beautifully shaped carbon hub body is tightly bonded to a lightweight aluminum hub flange, and integrated radial spoke seats ensure perfect alignment.

A stunningly stunning C-LUX finish and subtle new Bora Ultra graphics ensure the new wheels have the show to match their ride. Campagnolo's CULT ceramic bearings spin effortlessly inside both the aerodynamic carbon front body and aluminum rear cup of the disc hubs. The oversized 36-tooth rear ratchet system can be operated by N3W, XDR or HG freehub bodies. The 2-Way Fit rims are tubeless-ready out of the box without rim tape, designed for 23mm tire widths, are aerodynamically optimized for 25mm tires. UNDENIABLE EFFICIENCY

The overall efficiency of the wheel is determined by overcoming aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance, and the effects of weight and slope.

Rolling resistance for this rim profile was found to be lower with a 19mm internal width rim bed, especially with 25mm or 28mm tires, but aerodynamics were optimized with 25mm.

With a system weight of 87 kg, the rolling resistance of a 25 mm tire at 40 km/h is: tubular 30 watts, clincher 28 watts, tubeless 25 watts. Therefore the Bora Ultra WTO has 2-Way Fit rims for tubeless, tubeless-ready or clincher tires.

PERFECT ALIGNMENT

Campagnolo shapes the nipple and valve holes in the rims, so that no carbon fiber is cut during drilling.

Each spoke hole has an internal nipple seat, wrapped into the rim's carbon layup, that is specifically aligned to the intended hub.
