Thanks to its optimized design and updated components, it offers an immersive experience, greater compatibility with pedaling analysis, and other improvements that make it one of the quietest, most realistic, and most precise bike trainers available.

Extraordinary stability
The newly redesigned magnets significantly improve the stability of the NEO 2T Smart. Any noise generated by internal air movement is significantly reduced, as are vibrations transmitted to the floor at low cadences. The result is a smart trainer that's quieter than ever.

The NEO 2T Smart trainer features a new motor design that delivers more power at low speeds, with a greatly improved pedal feel when climbing or accelerating.

Optimized pedal stroke analysis
While NEO 2 Smart is equipped with a capacitive left and right leg sensor that precisely measures the exact position of both legs, NEO 2T Smart takes pedal stroke analysis to a whole new level. By adding cycling dynamics to standard ANT+® connectivity, you can now analyze your pedal stroke using third-party software, including the software on our Edge® cycling computers.

A more realistic ride
The NEO 2T Smart is designed to simulate an outdoor ride as realistically as possible. It reacts instantly to changes in speed or gradient and allows you to tilt different degrees left and right while pedaling, following the natural trajectory of your body. It also includes dynamic inertia, which controls mass inertia and compensates for it based on weight, speed, and lean angle, to make your ride as realistic as possible. Use the Tacx software or the Zwift app to try the road riding function. It allows the trainer to vibrate and simulate the sensation of pedaling on different road surfaces, such as cobblestones or gravel. And when connected to an external power source, it accurately simulates a downhill ride, too.

Designed for power
The NEO 2T Smart delivers powerful results during even the most intense training sessions. Its design features 32 neodymium magnets, enabling powerful braking and power output. It can withstand sprints of up to 2,200 watts and simulate climbs of up to 25%. Furthermore, it generates energy from its own pedaling motion, eliminating the need for an external power source and associated electrical outlet. No matter how intense your workout, this smart bike trainer is built to last. The rear axle has also been redesigned, making this trainer compatible with a wider range of bikes—without the need for adapters.

Precise and reliable
The NEO 2T Smart Indoor Trainer is designed to provide reliable, accurate, and consistent measurement of your power, speed, and cadence, so you can track your performance and progress. This smart indoor trainer requires no calibration and measures your data with a maximum deviation of 1%.

Full connectivity
The trainer communicates via Bluetooth® Smart technology and the ANT+ FE-C protocol, making it compatible with a variety of popular training apps. Take a ride on a popular cycling route in the Tacx software, explore virtual worlds on Zwift, or use other platforms like TrainerRoad. You can also use the trainer in standalone mode. When not plugged in, it simulates a flat road; the faster you pedal, the greater the resistance. Connect to multiple devices simultaneously, so you can use the software while monitoring the performance of your Garmin cycling computer.
